Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sajha Haat. By using the service you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

Sajha Haat is a neutral online classifieds venue. We are not a party to, broker of, agent for, or guarantor of any transaction or agreement between users. We do not buy, sell, own, inspect, store, deliver or verify any listed item, and we take no part in payment between users. We do not verify the identity of any user or the truth, quality, legality, ownership or value of any listing. Any seller label or badge reflects only what a user declared or a narrow technical check, and is not a warranty by us. You deal with other users entirely at your own risk.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the accuracy of what you provide. We may refuse, suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, abuse or a breach of these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, adapt (for example to generate image variants and previews), publish and display it for operating and promoting the service. You confirm you own or have the rights to your content, that it is accurate, that the item exists and is lawfully yours to offer, and that it does not infringe any right or law. You are solely responsible for your content and for every transaction and communication you enter into.

Prohibited items and conduct

You must not list or seek anything illegal or prohibited, including weapons, drugs, wildlife, stolen or counterfeit goods, items you have no right to sell, or anything that exploits a minor. You must not post fraudulent, deceptive, duplicate or spam listings, harvest data, interfere with the service or its moderation, harass or threaten others, or publish another person’s private information. See the Community and Safety policy, which forms part of these terms. We may review, refuse, edit, remove or delay any content and restrict any account at our discretion.

No warranties

The service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing, user or content is accurate, genuine, lawful or safe.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our owners and personnel are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the service or any transaction, listing, user or content. In particular we are not liable for the acts or omissions of any user, for any dispute between users, or for fraud, misrepresentation, non-delivery, or the condition, legality or ownership of any item.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us and our personnel harmless from any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense arising out of your use of the service, your content, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

Disputes between users

Disputes between users are solely between those users. We have no obligation to become involved, though we may remove content or restrict accounts. You release us and our personnel from all claims arising out of any dispute between users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Subject to any non-waivable right you have, disputes with us will be resolved in the courts of Nepal. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
